Day wise Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi to Shimla
When you arrive at Delhi airport, someone will greet you and help you start your journey to Shimla. As you drive, you’ll see beautiful scenery change from the busy city to peaceful mountains.
When you reach Shimla, check into the hotel. After a bit of recovery time after the long journey, you can leisurely stroll through Mall Road, a popular name within Shimla. A walking wonder with charming shops, it offers the cosiness of a tiny little café. It has awe-inspiring hill views and such an atmosphere.
Explore Shimla’s rich history and attractions, enjoying the charm of this former British summer retreat. After a day of picturesque sights, return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
Day 02: Shimla City Tour and Kufri
Begin your day with a great breakfast. Prepare for an exciting excursion to Kufri, a small but marvellously enchanting hill station about 13 km from Shimla. Kufri, well known for its panoramic views and tranquil environment, is a perfect spot for nature lovers.
Visit the Himalayan Wildlife Zoo to spot some of the world’s rarest species that live within its walls, such as the Himalayan Monal, bears, and other birds and animals. Post your visit to Kufri, return to Shimla to explore some of the landmarks, such as the Jakhoo Temple for its spectacular views and peaceful atmosphere, the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies with its grand architecture, and the Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India. Spend your evening strolling around the Mall and The Ridge – Shimla’s most fashionable shopping areas, epitomizing the town’s vibrancy. Have a great dinner at the hotel.
Day 03: Shimla to Kullu to Manali
Drive along scenic roads to Manali. On the way, make a stop at Kullu. Kullu is known for its adventurous nature, which includes trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, paragliding, and hiking. Both the locals and tourists also engage in angling here. For those interested in crafts, a visit to the renowned Kullu Shawl Factory and the rabbit farms nearby offers an insight into the textile heritage of this region. Proceed to Manali, where, upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoy a great dinner.
Day 04: Manali Local Sightseeing
Begin the day with breakfast, then start exploring the local sites of Manali. First, go to Hadimba Temple. This wooden structure was constructed in 1553. The temple is quite peculiar in terms of its pagoda roof and intricately carved doorway. The Club House features a range of activities: roller skating, billiards, a library, and a restaurant. Then, discover the Tibetan Monastery and Van Vihar, which are retreats amidst natural beauty. Finish your journey with a visit to the hot springs of Vashisht, famous hot springs and ancient temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and Lord Rama. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Explore Solang Valley
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you will head for a full-day sightseeing tour of Solang Valley, an adventure sports hub. If interested, you can also visit Atal Tunnel and Sissu Lake by private non-AC car. Post an eventful day, full of adventures and vistas, you would return to Manali by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
