Transfer from Jaipur to Udaipur, also known as the “City of Lakes.” Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the Grand City Palace, the beautiful Jagdish Temple, views at Gangaur and Ambrai Ghats, a boat ride on Lake Pichola, the Vintage Car Museum, and Saheliyon Ki Bari. Conclude with a cultural performance at Bagore Ki Haveli and local street food at Fateh Sagar Lake.

Today, I will be excited to explore the fabulous city of Udaipur. I will start at the beautiful City Palace. It offers excellent views of the glistening lake and the active city. A treasure trove of exquisite artefacts is revealed by the museum within. Next, visit the beautiful temple Jagdish of Lord Vishnu. Then saunter through this pretty garden adorned with elegant fountains and the marble pavilion of Saheliyon Ki Bari, erstwhile enjoyed by the royal ladies. The evening will allow me to have a peaceful boat tour on Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Nehru Park, an island one may climb to view the fantastic sunset scenery—a hill to stand upon and enjoy sunsets in Udaipur. I will return to my hotel for a quiet evening and overnight stay in this wonder city of lakes and palaces.

Check out of your hotel in Udaipur and drive to Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan. Once there, check into your hotel and relax. The day is free for leisure, either to roam around the city’s different atmosphere or to relax in your hotel. Get ready for some more exciting activities in this lovely city. Spend an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Begin the day by discovering Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort made from golden sandstone. The day then includes visiting Patwon Ki Haveli, which has beautiful intricate carvings showing off Jaisalmer’s history of prosperity, Nathmal-ki-Haveli with remarkable architecture, and Bada Bagh, a garden complex built for the cenotaphs of kings. Visit the busy Manek Chowk marketplace and end the day at Gadisar Lake, surrounded by temples and ghats. Some last-minute shopping in the vibrant local market is followed by an overnight stay at Sam & Dunes, embracing the serenity of the desert.

On your final day, have breakfast at Sam & Dunes. Then, set off on a return journey towards Jaipur, 552 km away. It is time to bid goodbye to Rajasthan until further meet.
