Day wise Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Cochin

Arrive at the vibrant city of Cochin. Start your journey through the beautiful landscapes of Kerala. In due course, you will transferred to your hotel, where the rest of the day is at your disposal to relax and recover after your journey. This day allows you to relax without sightseeing planned to acclimate and rejuvenate after your travels. Enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of your hotel, take a calm walk in the evening, or simply soak in the peacefulness. It’s an ideal time to mentally and physically prepare for what lies ahead. Overnight at your hotel in Cochin.

Day 02: Cochin to Munnar

After a lovely breakfast, you will explore Cochin, visiting Fort Kochi with its colonial architecture and iconic Chinese fishing nets. Next, you’ll see St. Francis Church, India’s oldest European church, and the Dutch Palace, known for its stunning Hindu temple murals. After lunch, enjoy a scenic 130-kilometre drive to Munnar, famous for its lush tea plantations. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon and check-in at your hotel.

Day 03: Munnar

Wake up to visit the Eravikulam National Park at Nilgiri Tahr Endangered species. This makes your tour unique to observe one of the rarest forms of animals in their surroundings against the stunning Anamudi Peak, the highest Peak in South India. From here, continue to Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy a serene boat ride in the surroundings. You will first visit the Tea Museum, where you can explore the evolution of tea production in this region, Munnar’s most significant industry. Next, you’ll visit Echo Point, a popular attraction famous for its intriguing natural acoustics. Visit Kundala Lake for a peaceful day ending as the lake waters are tranquil. Back to your hotel by 7 PM, resting and reflecting on the day’s experiences. Overnight at your hotel in Munnar.

Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady

After a hearty breakfast, you will check out from your Munnar hotel and drive to Thekkady, about 90 kilometres away. On the way, you will stop at Lockhart Gap View and enjoy the breathtaking views of the valleys. On arrival in Thekkady, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up. The day’s highlight will be visiting the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary of India’s most iconic protected regions. A boat tour on Periyar Lake offers a chance to see elephants, bison, and colourful birds in their natural habitats. This serene trek is best for nature and wildlife admirers! You can spend the rest of the evening leisurely, enjoying Thekkady’s natural beauty and serenity. Return to your hotel by 7 PM. Overnight stay at your hotel in Thekkady.

Day 05: Thekkady to Alleppey

After breakfast, you will leave Thekkady and drive to Alleppey, famous for its beautiful backwaters. The drive of about 140 kilometres takes you through beautiful countryside and lush landscapes. You will check into a deluxe houseboat by noon for your night stay. This houseboat cruise through the Alleppey Backwaters is the quintessential Kerala experience; glide past paddy fields, coconut groves, and quaint villages with this peaceful ambience. Enjoy a delicious lunch and tea on board as you unwind in the tranquil atmosphere of this unique water world. By evening, the houseboat will be docked, and you will be transferred to your hotel in Alleppey. Enjoy your time to unwind! Your overnight stay will be at your hotel in Alleppey.

Day 06: Drop at Cochin Airport

After a laid-back breakfast, you will depart your hotel in Alleppey and drive back to Cochin, about 85 kilometres away. With no sightseeing plans today, take this wonderful opportunity to relax and reflect on the amazing memories from your tour. Enjoy the scenic drive as we head back, and remember to arrive at Cochin Airport well ahead of your departure. What a fantastic end to your Kerala adventure!
