Day wise Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Bagdogra and transfer to Phuentsholing

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative for a comfortable transfer to Phuentsholing, the gateway town to Bhutan. Enjoy a scenic drive through lush greenery and rolling foothills as you make your way toward the Indo-Bhutan border. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 02: Phuentsholing to Thimphu - Transfer and enroute sightseeing

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. As you ascend through winding mountain roads, enjoy the breathtaking views of valleys and forests.

En route, stop for brief sightseeing at scenic viewpoints and cultural spots, such as Kharbandi Gompa, which offers panoramic views of Phuentsholing and the Bengal plains. Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check into your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 03: Thimphu to Paro - Sightseeing & Transfer

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin your journey from Thimphu to Paro, one of Bhutan’s most picturesque valleys. En route, enjoy sightseeing at key attractions, including the majestic Simtokha Dzong and scenic Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge.

Upon arrival in Paro, explore highlights such as the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, and the iconic Paro Rinpung Dzong, known for its impressive architecture and serene setting. Later, check into the hotel in Paro for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Paro - Tiger's Nest Monastery Hike

After breakfast, embark on a memorable hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery), perched dramatically on a cliff at an altitude of 3,120 meters. The trail takes around 4-5 hours round trip and offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley and lush pine forests.

This sacred site is where Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated, making it one of Bhutan’s most revered pilgrimage spots. After the hike, return to your hotel in Paro for a well-deserved rest. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 05: Paro to Phuentsholing - Sightseeing and Transfer

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin your journey from Paro to Phuentsholing, retracing your route through Bhutan’s scenic mountain landscapes. En route, enjoy brief sightseeing stops at picturesque viewpoints and cultural sites, such as Chuzom, where the rivers Paro and Thimphu meet, and the traditional Tachogang Lhakhang Iron Bridge.

Arrive in Phuentsholing by evening and check into your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay, marking the end of your enchanting journey in Bhutan.

Day 06: Departure

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed with your transfer from Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station. Enjoy the scenic drive through the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas as you bid farewell to Bhutan.

Rules for a visit to Bhutan

  • An original passport or voter ID card is required for 1those 8 years and above
  • Children below 18 years require a passport or a birth certificate (English written certificate)
  • The sustainable development fee (SDF) is payable in Bhutan in INR 1200/- per person per night for adults (13 years and above) and
  • The SDF INR 600/- per child per night between (6-12 years) and a child between 1-5 no sdf charge required ( complimentary)
  • A tourist-certified tour guide is compulsory in Bhutan for every tourist
  • 2 passport-size photographs required
  • Original documents are required; Xerox copies are not valid at the immigration office
  • Documents like the Aadhaar card, the PAN card, and the driving licence are not valid in Bhutan
  • Should any inconveniences, extra charges or any kind of implications come up, the travellers shall bear them

Terms & Conditions

  • Please note that the names of the hotels mentioned in the proposed list only indicate that our rates are based on the usage of these hotels. It is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey it to you. Suppose the accommodation is unavailable at any of the hotels mentioned above. In that case, we will book alternative accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and pass on the difference in rates (supplement or reduction, whichever is applicable) to you.
  • Our offer is based on using base category rooms at the mentioned hotels, unless specified otherwise. If this category of rooms is not available, we will try to confirm accommodation in the next higher category of rooms and advise on the supplementary cost while conveying the status.
  • No refund will be made for unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours, or any other service. Such unused items are non-refundable but can be exchanged depending on the situation.
  • The timings provided to guests should be followed strictly. Any delay in timing may result in the vehicle not being able to enter the service location. We will not be responsible for any extra expenses the guest may incur for reaching the stand instead of a direct pickup from the hotel.
  • A 50% advance payment is required for confirmation, and 50% upon arrival.
  • Each guest must carry four sets of passport-size photographs and three Photocopies of the voter’s ID or driving license. The original documents should be available with the guest throughout the trip.
  • The vehicle will be on a point-to-point basis, and anything outside the itinerary will not be accommodated. Extra charges will be applicable for any last-minute route/sightseeing point changes apart from the finalised tour itinerary.
  • Room allotment will be based on availability at the time of check-in; floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
  • No refund will be claimed if the hotel’s services and amenities do not meet your expectations.
  • In all places where the permit has to be made for every person with a vehicle now under the situation of any natural disasters like a landslide, heavy snowfall, road blockages, or any other uncertain things caused by mother nature, the desired destination for which the permits have been made and issued to you and if you are unable to reach or due to those causes, if you had to stopover somewhere and return without reaching the concerned destination for which the permits has been issued, are not refundable in any cases. The company will not bear the loss.
  • If the tour route changes or if it goes to a destination that was not discussed in the itinerary and has not been booked with us earlier, it must be concerned with us and will be confirmed by us only. Suppose the client tries to arrange through the driver. In that case, it is undefined and unacceptable; our agency will not entertain further issues.
  • In case any vehicle damage is caused due to an uncertain mechanical failure or any minor accidents in which the vehicle is not in a position for further use, the cab will be changed on the spot. However, depending on the location, the alternative car may take some time to reach the spot. Until then, we request that our clients have patience and wait for another car to arrive, and the journey will begin.

Cancellation Policy:

Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring smooth planning for your trip. You can cancel your booking free of charge if you make the cancellation at least 60 days before your travel date. For cancellations made between 40 and 59 days before travel, a 30% cancellation fee will apply. If you choose to cancel between 25 and 39 days before travel, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Any cancellation made within 25 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee, and no refunds will be provided. We recommend planning your changes well in advance to avoid unnecessary charges.
