Begin the day with a good hearty breakfast, then proceed to a day of city exploration. The tour can start with the Old City, or Icherisheher, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and serves as the historical core of Baku. Ancient City Walls, the Maiden Tower—a mysterious, cylindrical 12th-century fortress—and the Palace of Shirvanshah, a massive, 15th-century palace complex that was the seat of power of the Shirvanshahs dynasty. These are the main attractions for exploring old Baku, which can be observed in all their wealth within the narrow alleys and in the ancient buildings of this old quarter. Then head to the Miniature Book Museum, which features interesting miniature books worldwide and showcases the art of miniature bookmaking.
Further on is the Juma Mosque, a sacred place for Islam in the city. The Baku Boulevard, laid down in 1909, which runs parallel to the Caspian Sea, reflects how the city changed from an oil town to a modern metropolis. Conclude your day at Little Venice, an oasis of calm with its canals and gondola rides. It provides a serene getaway from the city’s bustle. Return to your hotel for an evening wind-down.

Day 03: Gobustan Tour

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel before exploring the remarkable Qobustan region. This region has been known for ancient rock petroglyphs dating back to the 8th millennium BC. Spread across 100 square kilometres, the engravings depict hunting scenes, ships, constellations, and animals. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2007, houses valuable evidence of history and culture.

After soaking up the history, dive into modernity by visiting Park Boulevard. This multi-story shopping mall on the picturesque Baku Boulevard in downtown Baku blends Eastern elegance with Western modernity. Discover its six floors of retail delights, dining options, and entertainment. Conveniently located near Sahil Metro Station and the Government House, this shopper’s paradise has 550 automobile parking capacity.

End the day with a quiet return to your hotel, carrying memories of Qobustan’s ancient wonders and Park Boulevard’s vibrant charm.
